A Local Gem

Welcome to Bistro South, a small neighborhood bistro located in downtown Monroe, GA, inside John's Supermarket. Opened in 2020, we are a family-owned business that takes pride in serving our local community with delicious, homemade southern cuisine.

 

Our menu features a daily-rotating blue plate special and a grill menu with award-winning burgers and contemporary takes on classic southern dishes. We also offer Grab-&-Go items for customers to enjoy at home, as well as a breakfast menu featuring homemade biscuits and other favorites.

 

We believe that the quality of our ingredients is what sets us apart, and we are committed to using only the freshest elements, including Holifield Farms sausage, Braveheart beef, Luna Baking Co. Bread, and Condor Chocolates coffee. We source our ingredients from local farmers and visit the Atlanta State Farmers Market each week to handpick the best produce. Our hand-breaded chicken, house-made pickles, and house-smoked pecan-pulled pork are just a few examples of the care and attention that goes into every dish.

 

In our short history, Bistro South has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Best Burger, Best French Fries, and Best Catering awards from the Walton Tribune.
